Exemplos:
Simple Map Example
- Click on the Coordinate System button (11th button from the left).
- Click on Geographic.
- Drag and drop the longitude and latitude to the corresponding field.
- Drag “monarchy” from the field list to the color field.
- Drag “number_of_participants” to the size field.
Simple Reasons Chart Example
- Drag and drop “reasons_and_motivations” to the X-Axis field.
- Drag and drop “Row count” to the Y-Axis field.
- Drag and drop “continent” to the Y-Axis field also to get a group of charts with the same data, separated by continents.
Food Reason Example
Notice that the data has been processed to include the century, the start year, the end year, the start month, the end month, the start season, and the reasons and motivations as separate fields.
You can use this processed data to create more complex visualizations.
- Drag and drop “reason_food” to the Filters field.
- Automatically there will be an opening window, keep only selected “Yes” to filter out the Revolts that dont include the reason.
- Drag and drop “monarchy” and “start_season” to the X-Axis field, and “Row count” to the Y-Axis.
- Try to drag and drop the “monarchy” to the Color field.
- Check the tooltip, hovering over the bar.
- Try to drag and drop the “name_of_revolt” to the Details field. Check the result hovering the mouse over a bar.
- To check the corresponding data, click on one of the bars, and “View Data”. Here you can read part of the data, and use the Name of the Revolt to search on the website.
